Passed the cheesecake factory on our trip in seattle but never got time to go in, so I was determined to visit when i found this one around the corner from our hotel in miami. Am i glad we did! The hostess seated us straight away, our waiter 'mike' was friendly and helpful. My husband had a pit beef dip sandwich, i had a cuban sandwich... We went halves and they were both delicious, really, really tasty, never even put a fry past my lips cause i was so full.... I guess it'll have to be another visit for the cheesecake;-) My daughter had the cajun chicken littles... Not little by any means, she loved them. We will be back!

I can't believe this! Cheesecake Factory you have finally redeemed yourself! I'm always on the hunt for a great waffle and my friend told me that this place had the best ones she's ever tried. At first I thought she was crazy! Cheesecake Factory has a good anything? Doubtful. I really dislike chain restaurants and I've had a terrible experience in the past with this location. So this morning my friends decided we would give this restaurant a try for brunch. I was hesitant but sucked it up because I wanted to see my girls. I went with the intention of trying this "amazing waffles" but ended up ordering the lemon ricotta pancakes instead. Holy deliciousness!!! These were amazing! My friends each ordered waffles and those were sooooo good. I'll definitely give this place another try for brunch soon.

I like Cheesecake Factory because the menu is so varied that it's impossible not to find something you like. Plus, the food is tasty, and even if you don't get their cheesecake, you can drool over them and the amazing ingredient combinations staring back at you from behind the glass, and just dream... Whether you want salads, pasta, seafood, or steak, they're here to please. Even better, they now have a low calorie menu called the "Skinnylicious", so even the more health-conscious people can find something they like. There's also a kids' menu, which has pretty affordable kid-approved options for even the most finicky kid. I ordered a Skinnnylicious Fresh Vegetable Salad, and was thrilled by the variation of vegetables in it. I don't think I have seen a salad with so many ingredients before: asparagus, green beans, tomato, cucumber, roasted beets, apple, edamame, radicchio, Romaine and white cheddar, with a pomegranate vinaigrette. I also added chicken. Sure, it wasn't as "unbutton your pants because you're going to explode" filling as their larger, calorie-laden options, but it was still quite satisfying, and with different, refreshing flavors going into your mouth, it was a new experience. I do want to warn you though, that being on Cocowalk, this location can get quite full. We had a 30 minute wait, and though that normally would have made me give this location 2 or 3 stars, our waiter Kathleen was so great and so patient (we had 3 kids in our party, on a play date, so you can imagine how indecisive and rowdy they can get), that she is the reason I decided to give them a 4. At one point, I needed to accompany the girls to the restroom, and the waitress was perfectly fine with that. She made sure they didn't clean our table and rushed me off to go take care of the girls. If all the waiters are this great, then I definitely stand behind my 4 star rating. It got too late to order cheesecake and kids shouldn't eat sugar late at night or they'll bounce off the walls and never sleep, so we had to skip on the cheesecake, but next time, we already know what we'll be ordering!

Not the best Cheesecake Factory I've been to. Service was slow to serve. They didn't clean the table nor picked up what was left between servings. Food was OK, as expected at this very good franchise. I believe the place could focus more in making sure everybody is comfortable. It was a week day as opposed to a weed end, so can't understand the somewhat busy/overwhelming pace of the place.

Just to be clear- someone gave me a CF gift card, otherwise you would not find me in this establishment. I came prepared, having studied their online nutrition guide. It would be fun to play a guess-how-many-calories trivia game here, as one of their salads clocks in at over 1,500 calories, and some of the fruity cheesecakes (wild blueberry for one) actually score higher on the calorie scale than the chocolatey ones. They were busy on Saturday at 1:00 pm prime time, so I planted myself at the bar. The food came out incredibly fast and all the staff was very pleasant and friendly. Since I already knew I was going to order a slice of cheesecake, I got the healthiest salad on the menu: Seared tuna with greens, avocado and tomato. I asked for lightly dressed greens, and they still came out more saturated than I like. The salad was good but nowhere near worth $18. Oreo Dream Cheesecake... Layers of crushed Oreos, dark chocolate cheesecake, vanilla cheesecake, thick milk chocolate icing and Oreo crumbles. Incredibly rich and fatty. Not too sweet. I took my time eating it, even though the guys next to me seemed to get some weird satisfaction out of watching me. The cake was even better once it came to room temperature. I am literally having heart palpitations now, as my body isn't used to this rich food. 880 calories, BTW - in case you were wondering. It's worth skipping dinner this one time.

This location is in the Cocowalk area and was just 2 minutes away from our hotel. It was a weekday evening and not busy around 6PM so we were shown to a table promptly. I'm familiar with this chain but had never eaten there before so it took a while to go through the menu. There is a lot of items to choose from the appetizers to mains, and I wanted to save room for cheesecake! Our server was attentive to check if we had questions about the menu and if we were ready to order. She said portion sizes were big so that helped me decide what to have. I had the tex mex egg rolls which were an appetizer but was enough for a meal. There were so many flavours of cheesecake to choose from but I picked the tiramisu one. The piece wasn't too big and rich to enjoy after my meal but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I enjoyed it with a cup of tea. I liked the food and service. Would be back.

Dinner party of 12 here. Wait time was no less than 15 minutes on a Friday night. The waitress Deborah was very patient with us! The food was HOT and FRESH! The kids couldn't stop talking about the cheesecake! I would definitely come back to this location! Minus the kids... Lol!

This location is EXTRA busy ALWAYS. The service is not the best at all, there is always very long waits even when there isnt large parties around. It can get very loud inside since they do not have any outside seating. But food is tasty & you can take a walk or shop after your meal.

This is the worst ever Cheesecake Factory ever! From the decor is very dated, the service is horrible and the food did not taste like Cheesecake Factory food usually tastes. The bread was cold. i asked for oil & vinegar, the waiter, Peter said he didn't know where "it" was at the time! He had to find the 1 and only bottle of oil, which did not even taste like olive oil. Worst Cheesecake Factory ever! This place gives the CheeseCake Factory a bad name

The selection is wide and the portions are huge. Pastas, burgers, steaks, fish & seafood, pizza, etc. I ordered the Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich with spicy Buffalo sauce. (HOT!!!) It came with French Fries on the side. I should've ordered a bucket of ice too. Did I mention it was hot? I got the Ultimate Red Velvet Cake Cheesecakeâ„¢ for dessert. Another large portion. I could barely finish the cheesecake because the servings were so big. The food was awesome. It was a quiet weeknight when my wife and I went there so it was a laidback intimate evening. Our server was very nice, polite, and soft-spoken. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and glad to answer all the questions we had. It took us a while to decide what we wanted because the menu was so expansive but she was patient with us. The restaurant plays loungy, soft jazz music which adds to the tranquil atmosphere. Not my cup of tea but it seemed to fit for the evening. If we're in Miami again, we'll definitely revisit this place.

The food was good, but Jan (I think that was her name), she was the STAR! Hands down one of the most down to earth, fun, and engaging waitresses that I have EVER encountered! I am so happy that we were seated in her area. In fact, we will request her area any and every time that we dine in! She made my birthday dinner awesome sauce!!!

Started off horribly with burnt marcaroni and cheese balls. I was pissed that they were clearly burnt. Theres no way the cook didnt see it. Luis the manager apologized. I am glad he took the time to do that. It really made a difference. I ordered the chicken and biscuits and it was very good. Very moist chicken and good veggies and mashed potatoes..

I just visited this Cheesecake Factory location for what I can guarantee will be the final time. After waiting 20 minutes for bread we placed our order. The waitress was very friendly and her smile was very well received after getting the side eye from the hostess when I asked to not be seated in the hot terrace-like area with the big windows. I ordered a veggie burger with no mayo and received a veggie burger with a side of mayo and traces of mayo in the lettuce and bread. Looked like they prepared my burger with mayo, remembered that it wasn't supposed to have mayo, wiped some of it off, and them brought it out to me. No thanks. The burger was taken back and the manager stopped by to apologize, which was nice. After having been waiting for food for an hour I finally received my second burger. It was room temperature on the outside and cold on the inside. Cold. Like straight from the fridge cold. I had three bites because it was 2pm at this point and I was insanely hungry, but it was a gross, cold, soggy/uncooked disaster. The goat cheese and beet salad my husband ordered was ok, but I've had the same salad at another cheesecake factory and it was a lot better. My kids grilled cheese had the most amount of butter I've ever seen in a piece of bread and the "fresh" fruit salad that came with it was a soggy mess. Check it out for yourself in the picture I posted. I've had much better meals pretty much everywhere else I've ever gone out to eat. There are much better restaurants in the same price point as this place but with much better quality food within walking distance.

I have been going to Cheesecake Factory for years almost all my experiences are close to perfect. Therefore, my overall rating is based on all the years I've been going, not today's incident with the server. Today, I came for the Happy Hour (ends at 6PM by the way). I ordered the delicious Tamale that is $5.50 during the Happy Hour which is HUGE and perfect for sharing. In addition, we also shared the herb crusted salmon that also brings shrimp. Both of the entrees are perfect for sharing. I enjoy coming here because service is relatively quick, food is fresh, and clean. Although, service today at the bar sucked! I constantly had to call the server over for water or anything we needed. The server was very connected to his phone, talking with other co workers, and watching the TV. Other than that, my experience here is usually excellent.

Apparently the best time to come to this location wit out a long wait time is after 10 pm. I walked right up to the bar area and took a seat. The bartender came up and offered a drink right away. They were very attentive. I ordered a glass of house merlot, and buffalo blast (I haven't had them in years since I left Florida). My wine came in no time, the food too about 10 minutes. My food came out before the complimentary bread (white and pumpernickel). A few of my blasts were a little burned, but there were about 10 of them so the 1 or 2 was no big deal. I had plenty left to take home. I also ordered an oreo cheesecake to go. Pure heaven! It tastes as delicious as I remember. I'll be back here the next time I'm in town.

I am a huge fan of Cheesecake Factory, but this particular location was a huge let down and waste of money. I also want to mention that I have serving and hosting experience. During each grievance my party was more than polite. First off, the hostess seated us in back room by the windows, which was disgustingly hot and packed! Everyone looked like packed sardines! She squeezed us at a table where in order to pull my chair out to sit, I had to hit the customers seat behind me. It was so loud I had to yell at my partner sitting across from me! We asked to be seated in the front part of the restaurant where there was plenty of room!! I cannot fathom the rational of trying to seat customers in a noisy, sticky back room when there is ample space in the front of house. There are too many tables in that back room, none of the customers were seated comfortably. Service was mediocre at best. I ordered a Cobb salad and asked them to replace the bleu cheese with mozzarella. When my salad came out, the lettuce was tired looking and wet. It also had bleu cheese, no mozzarella. The waitress apologized and took it back to the kitchen. When it came back out it had no cheese at all, and no chicken anymore! They clearly just scraped the top portion of the salad off and didn't bother replacing the correct toppings. The kitchen should not be so lazy but our waitress did not even bother checking to make sure the order was correct. I didn't bother sending it back because clearly this staff was incompetent. Once is acceptable but if a customer has to ask you to DO YOUR JOB twice, that's excessive. To date, this was the worst cheesecake experience I have ever had. It is such a shame because it is in a prime location. I rate this restaurant one star because zero is not an option.

Bad service. I would never come back here again. They took 30 mins to bring out a salad and kids spaghetti.

Manager addressed any issues we had even though they were small which impressed my husband and I that he went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of.

Is a nice place to have lunch or dinner...food is really good ...I love the blueberry mojito!!! The place is clean and the service is good...I dont give them 5 because sometimes they take too long to bring the appetizers..I would go back again .

We all loved our meal. I had the factory meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn. It was indeed the comfort food I was craving. It was well seasoned and well prepared. My husband enjoyed his chicken Madeira with sautéed spinach. He are every bite. My daughter had the chicken Romano and she was very happy with her dish. The server was attentive and very friendly.

Service here was absolutely terrible. Our server Angela was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Laughed and rolled her eyes at me when I asked her questions about the drink list. Food took extremely long. She didn't check on us at all. Also, I accidentally dropped a pepper shaker and she told me I must have had to many martinis(I had two and they were WEAK). Worst customer service I've ever had. I feel like I got discriminated against because I came in in casual gym attire...little did she know we would have been her best table and had a lot more money that we wanted to spend... She's lucky she even got a tip whatsoever, I'm just a polite diner so I don't do things like that. Never coming back.

Worst Cheesecake Factory I have ever been to. Parking is a problem, service is a problem. They are also bad at to go orders and catering. I have to have them get an order right.

Server was good and pleasant ...deserved 2 of the stars. Food was among the worst of TCF that I had ever eaten in the chain of restaurants. Had the chicken bellagio. The chicken cutlet was way too salty, not crispy and presentation was not typical of TCF. Pasta didn't have enough sauce....just not very appetizing! Won't be back to this location.

I visited this cheesecake location for the first time for a late lunch and I really enjoyed it. Great food as always and great and quick service. I had a lunch pizza and salad which was fresh and very nice. My boyfriend ordered a California Cheese steak sandwich which was very flavorful and well made. Beautiful little location in Coconut Grove

Let me start off by saying that I love the cheesecakes from the Cheesecake Factory. I think they're delicious! However, the 2 times I have been to this location in Coconut Grove, the experience has been horrible. Dirty utensils with pieces of food in them, cold bread (both times I've visited) and, old tasting cheesecake and terrible service, the second time I visited. The second visit was the one that led me to write this review. Our waiter didn't introduce himself, brought the tab while we were still eating, and took the change as tip without me even giving it to him! He never brought back the change. I had to ask for it! I tip for good service, but I don't like the tip being TAKEN without me giving it and even less when his service was awful to begin with. Overall, a terrible experience!!! Not sure I'll be coming back any time soon.

OMG!! So yummy! I got the Kaboom! A veggie sandwich and hubby got the Blammo! A roast beef sandwich. His bread was a little soggy from the au jus, but overall tasted good. This place is great! Very fresh and a very good value.

Cheesecake Factory is a chain, and this restaurant has chain restaurant food. It also needs a rehab, as it has a beaten up vibe from years of use. The food is plentiful but tasteless. I had a Margarita for $10 and it was poor. There a lot of good restaurants in Coconut Grove. This is not one of them. Boring and banal.

Most kid / stroller unfriendly restaurant I have ever been..... I have been to other cheese cake factories that are similarly un friendly with strollers but wow this one is the top....

Visited the Cheesecake Factory in the Grove on Sunday afternoon and had a great experience. Hard to believe the place has been there for over 20 years and is cleaner and better than the early days. There was a wait and even though I was with two small kids we were treated kindly and given a table large enough to accommodate us. We were greeted immediately and I don't remember the gentleman's name but he was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered two apps which were tasty and came out quickly and steaming hot! My four year old loved the mac n cheese balls! My wife and I each got tacos, which were fresh and delicious. The only negative thing I can say is that the portions are huge! Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. We live in Broward and don't get to the Grove often, but I certainly recommend the Cheesecake Factory to anyone going to Coconut Grove.

Another place that my coworkers love. Large menu and hit or miss with the waiters /waitresses. I have tried many items on the menu, but really don't have a favorite. I can say I love the appetizer fried mac and cheese I get them every time I go. Overall it's just ok 2 me. I more than likely will return especially when overruled by my coworkers.

We went to this restaurant after the art festival closed. Every other restaurant in town had a really long wait and this one didn't. There is a good reason for that. We were seated within ten minutes. The tables were only about ten inches apart and it was very difficult to squeeze through to sit down. We have always loved the cheesecake factory but this was our first trip to this location. The four cheese pasta was extremely salty and I couldn't even eat it. The waitress never asked why I didn't eat my meal. We both ordered cheesecake and one piece came out twice as big as the other. For a $60 meal this was a big disappointment.

I always love their Louisiana Chicken Pasta and Baked Potato Soup. I see all these other negative reviews and just don't understand. Cheesecake is a pretty general restaurant for any occasion.

Came for a late dinner and we didn't have to wait, we were seated right away. The atmosphere, the food and service were really good. Brian(waiter) was very helpful and knowledgable about the food choices. We had the Hibachi Steak and Diané Steak with mashed potato and they were extremely tasty. The sauce amount and the meat were just right. If you like juicy steaks I highly recommend you to come and try these. Btw the pomegranate mojito was spectacular too. We had overall a great experience, no waiting, great service, good food, what else can we ask for?

Horrible place, rude staff, and terrible food. We went there to celebrate a bday and it was the first and last time we choose this restaurant. We had to wait almost two hours to be seated and they need up seating us on an outside table. I asked a chicken salad and an orange juice, and my husband asked for a stake and a beer. To sum up, we waited two more hours to get the food. Chicken cold and juice hot. Stake cold and beer hot. The waitress didn't even put water in our table, we had to ask for it. Avoid this place!!!!

You may have been taken here on a date when you were in high school thinking you had made it into official adulthood and overlooked the gaudy decor because, hey, you were big time now. But come here as an adult and your kind of wondering why a place called "The Cheesecake Factory" is fashioned as though it was erected from ancient ruins. Any how, the food is a typical hodgepodge of everything and the kitchen sink and the portions are almost certainly not meant for normal consumption during one sitting. So fortunately if you care about your calorie intake there is a "Skinnylicious" menu that helps navigate you through what should be a normal serving size (though it will look minuscule if you glance at the indulgent family that is surely stuffing their faces in a booth near by). In a nutshell, service is efficient and the food is predictable- the "skinnylicious" menu is not bad- the fiance and I shared a pear and blue cheese flatbread which was pretty delicious, the sweet pear was balanced by the sharp and salty blue cheese. I ordered a turkey and avocado sandwich with a side salad and it was ok, not out of this world but not guilt inducing. My fiance ordered the turkey burger with the same side salad and no complaints were made. Overall it wasn't bad but not enough to make us rush back- we did have a $50 gift certificate so that made it more worth our while.

This definitely wasn't my favorite Cheesecake Factory location. In fact, this was probably the worst I've ever been to. It was small and cramped and the service was very slow. We went on a Saturday night, so we expected a wait. However, they told us 15 minutes, which turned into 45+. Once seated, our waiter was polite, but forgetful and superrrrr slow. We had to ask for bread to be brought out twice before it was. That said, the food was delicious as always.... when we finally got it.

The absolute worst meal service for a large group of thirty. Even though we called ahead for lunch, the kitchen was slow and erratic. Our servers did the best they could to keep the crowd happy but meals came out haphazardly with everyone eating at different times. It took almost 2 1/2 hours to get through a simple lunch without desserts because we ran out of time! Never attempt this place again with a crowd - they can't handle it. Asked for the managers help from the hostess - never saw him!

One of my favorite places for brunch. Though I'm not a fan of chain restaurants the Cheesecake Factory has very good food. The lemon ricotta pancakes are a must try! However, pancakes and French toast are only available on Sunday's.

I've been to this Coconut Grove Cheesecake Factory and have never been disappointed until today.I went for my friends bday with her mom and my husband and my son.First off the bathroom needs a serious cleaning I saw a dead rat in the stall with toilet paper everywhere and it smells like a swamp. The staff is friendly but they need to get their act together. Some Waiter tripped and fell and spilled water.Really clumsy person. Our waitress should've done a better job for keeping us happy. My BBQ Salad was terrible but my S'mores Cheesecake was great but also my burger was a little weird I won't go back to this location

I can't believe all the things that went wrong today lol. I arrived earlier than the rest of my party so I sat.... Literally sat for 10 minutes and no one asked if I wanted water or anything for that matter. Finally the waitress says hello and I order a mudslide with a shot of Baileys on the side. As my party arrived she brought a tiny glass which was supposed to be the recipe for heir mudslides. I mentioned that I had been at the dolphin one at which point it was the bartender that was new. Hmmmm any how she brought me another mudslide slightly larger but forgot the shot which I had poured into the first one. We ordered our entrees and two fried cheeses. I told her about the shot of baileys and she said she'd get it.15 minutes later I had finished the mudslide. I order. Second cuz I love torture lol. Her and a guy ask if I want a shot on the side of that one too. I said no since I never got the shot and things weren't going our way. We asked about the cheese since 20 minutes had passed and she went to check. Guess what?? The entrees were done but no cheese!! Then my sons pizza had a hair in it lmao I'm like seriously? Worst service in a long long long long time. Skip this place. Let's see if they charged me the shots. They did lol omg you gotta be fucking kidding me!!! They charged me one.

Did you know Cheesecake offers Happy Hour and has been for about a couple of years now? I surely didn't. Never thought of Cheesecake as a Happy Hour type of place, until recently. Happy Hour is from 4pm - 6pm, Monday thru Friday. The menu includes $5 cocktails (margarita, cosmo, mojito, etc.) some well drinks and some wines by the glass. The Happy Hour food menu also offers FULL-SIZE portions (hot spinach/cheese dip, crispy wontons, avocado eggrolls, sliders, fried mac & cheese, sweet corn, tamales, fried calamari, etc.) for $5! We shared the FULL-SIZE, delicious tamales and ordered perfect (not watered-down) mojitos and cosmos. Worth checking-out if you happen to already enjoy their food and customer service.

There seems to always be a 10-15 minute wait but it is worth it. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable of menu. The tables are clean and not wobbly but it is always so hot in the front of the restaurant. We are regulars at this location. Not many drawbacks. Enjoy

Took it easy and went with a salad. It was HUGE! There's nothing like going in hungry, eating healthy, and leaving stuffed!

They offer a skinnylicious menu which has so many healthy options! It also has quite a few of their signature menu items, made healthy. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, my boyfriend ordered the fish tacos and we both left feeling great (and more than satisfied) about our healthier, delicious options. We sat at the bar to watch a football game. The bartender was extremely nice and offered us many suggestions. If you have eaten here before you know their menu is HUGE and intimidating, so we were grateful. The food was out in about 10 minutes and it was $30 for both of us to eat. We were very happy and will definitely be back!

Ok I give this cheese cake factory an overall 3. I've had my share of good servers and bad... Enough to give it that rating. The tables are crowded a bit, the food takes a bit of time but this place is decent.

I really enjoy going to Cheesecake Factory, last night I gather there with some friends and as usual the food was phenomenal, it's my experience, everytime I go to any CF I try a new dish on the menu, with very few exceptions, all of them have been super tasty.

Strangely enough, this is the only Cheesecake Factory I've ever been to, and I'm not even from South Florida. I recently returned for my second visit on a rainy Friday afternoon. After a pretty ridiculously long wait, we were seated near a window, giving us a good view of the cute Grove shopping area down below. As usual, the menu was overwhelmingly massive, and the food was good and generously portioned. I failed, yet again, to finish my whole meal. Cheesecake Factory isn't gourmet food by any means, but if you're in the market to get very full for not much money, it fits the bill quite nicely.

Brace yourself for some large plates! It's Cheesecake Factory. An Italian chain that is somewhat upscale in comparison to the rest, but casual enough to feel comfortable. If you're headed this way on a weekend, make reservations or get comfortable at the bar because you're going to wait. On that note, they make really good long island ice teas, and their "well-mannered dirty martini" is great. Ask for blue cheese olives. Any of their pasta dishes are decent. My favorite is the Louisiana Pasta with breaded shrimp or the Cajun Chicken pasta. Both have a little bit of a kick. The portion is huge, so you can definitely share. Not too hungry? Get their small plates, cheap and pretty good! Dessert? Helloooooo Cheesecake! During the holidays they have a pumpkin pecan one, which is my favorite. But ANY of them do just fine.

Soda machine broken, michael our waiter explained to us that all they have is some old bottles they store in the basement to serve us tonight. Coke was flat from age. Manager came over to us to explain the problem. He said he sent a employee to super market to purchase some new bottles of coke for the restaurant. Explained the equipment is old and third time it broke down, but tonight looks like it is finished for good. No soda drinks for next hour of our meal. I realize you are wondering why I am making such a problem about not getting any soda. But this problem was realized earlier in the day by the manager on duty. NOTHING was done until dinner time, maybe he should have figured that many people are going to order some kind of soda with there dinner tonight, and should have the fore sight to do something!!! Instead his thoughts were to bad so sad. Time to replace this looser with someone who is trained by the Cheesecake Factory staff in running a major chain restaurant in Miami. Looking at the other YELP reviews looks like time for some big changes at one of the oldest cheesecake restaurants.

It's the Cheesecake Factory, what else is there to say. Who hasn't been there? The cheesecakes are delicious and fattening, the portions are huge the Chinese chicken salad is my absolute fave. I also love the fact that they have a new new healthy/ lite menu (I forget what it's called.) However, this cheesecake factory is not the best. Service and the food at this one is not up to par. They messed up our order and served my bf a a turkey burger that fell apart on him. The manager was no help and basically admitted that they have a bad recipe for it. They add a filler to it so all the turkey burgers fall apart.. so why is it on the menu? It was weird, but as I said before its the Cheesecake Factory so I'm gonna come back.

It's not what it used to be. Pros: great variety. I recommend the dynamite shrimp and firecracker salmon as appetizers. Cons: they push the tables together too tight. If you ate unfortunate to sit at a table and a large person is seated next to you be prepared to have their thighs or elbows running against you. Not cool.

No wait?! Are you serious?! Really?! YES! That started off the experience right. My friend and I were seated in 2 minutes! Me likey. The bread was warm and delicious. My friend ordered the Chicken Piccata and I ordered the Baja Chicken Tacos.. and this is where it went downhill. They boy needed salt, badly. They were seasoned but there was no flavor which is a shame. The rice and beans that came with my dish were great though so it wasn't TOO bad but the fact I had to put salt on my food really diminished my happiness. As always, I always come with the intention of eating cheesecake but because of the portions I could not even fathom the idea of ordering any. Ugh. The service was great. The server here was not pushy like the one at Dadeland which was great but then again, there wasn't a wait of people. Also, this place is much quieter than the Dadeland location in case you wanted to have a conversation.

The servers are very dirty and look extremely disgusting, the food is really good they just need to change the color of the uniform, that's a huge turn off for me....not everyone know how to take care of whites....

They have the best hibachi steak. The price is reasonable. The waitress is courteous and friendly. The environment is very relaxing. Definitely will come here again the next time I am in town.

I love eating at the bar not because I order drinks but becaus the bartenders make me feel welcomed even though I just order food. Love the four cheese pasta and the southwestern salad with extra dressing yum! Lots of colorful clients maybe found there and if you get lucky they might just grab you and kiss your head. Ewww funny but it did happen to me.

I came by last night for a friend's birthday. We had done the Art Walk Saturday and wanted a break from the usual Design District and beach haunts. Besides, the Grove is an old standby and perfect for Sunday going-outs as its not packed. Seating was a 20 minute wait, which is fairly typical when I go to Cheesecake but at least we had time to walk around window shop. Our waiter found us a cozy inside table (perfect for a birthday dinner). Wine (chardonnay) was cold and crisp, and promptly served. The brown bread was awesome..I could come here just for the bread! My dinner consisted of a HUGE portion of a pasta and chicken. The "tomato" seemed a mix of fresh tomatoes supplemented with marinara sauce but tasty nonetheless. There could have been chicken pieces but I won't complain too much compared to other restaurants. Where CFS Grove shone in my opinion was in the dessert and service department. Since the portion was too large for a single seating they actually put it in the takeout box for birthday girl and myself! This was a pleasant surprise as most restaurants usually just give you the box and expect for you to pack it yourself. Their 30th Anniversary cheesecake was monumental! I'm not a chocolate fan (yes there are such people) but this one made me a convert with its balance of softness and richness. I also liked the presentation with the candle, sprinkles and writing Happy Birthday with syrup on the plate :) They didn't charge a mandatory tip but I was glad to because the service was awesome!

You can never go wrong with Cheesecake Factory. Let me start off my saying that I am not a cheesecake fan... definitely not my dessert of choice. However the food and service are always consistent and that would explain the line at the hostess station. The menu is huge! So grab one and narrow down your choices while you wait for a table. My favorites: Drinks - PASSIONFRUIT ICE TEA is delish! Long Island Ice Teas are fantastic! Bread - Only time wheat is better than white is at Cheesecake. Appetizers - Tuna Carpaccio (AMAZING!) and avacado spring rolls Entree - Pasta Davinci Dessert - Tuxedo Cheesecake (Not your ordinary cheesecake!)

Blah blah blah. It's the Cheesecake Factory. Here's what you need to know: Food: exactly like every other Cheesecake Factory. Décor: pretty much the same as every other Cheesecake Factory. Ambiance: family central, noisy. Service: annoying, slow. I could have sworn that at 8 pm on a Saturday we were seated in "kiddie central." There were screaming children and their lazy parents everywhere - our table of four twenty-somethings would have really appreciated NOT being seated beside Princess Screams-a-lot. Annoying children aside, our server was a real PITA. His name was Daniel and he drove me crazy. After my drink still hadn't come out 15 minutes later, I flagged him down to let him know. His response? With sass: "Yeah, I know, my bartender is really backed up right now." How is that my problem? I think you mean, "Oh no, I'm so sorry! Let me see how that's coming!" Magically he ran right over to the computer and my drink was out in 2 minutes - he just clearly forgot to punch it in. Weirdly, after every time someone at our table said "Thank You" to him, he would respond with "Thank You for Coming." It was EXTREMELY obnoxious, but we made a game of it, and tried to say "Thank You" to him as many times as humanly possible. It was pretty nice payback for his incredibly negative attitude. If it weren't for the friends we were with, the manager probably would have gotten a piece of my mind. Anyway, if you hadn't guessed by the two stars and the review to this point, the Cheesecake Factory is not exactly my favorite restaurants and this is DEFINITELY not my favorite Cheesecake location. Per usual, I'll be avoiding it whenever possible. Especially because of overflow of children and their useless parents.

Went there for dinner last night. The menu is too long, too many options it's too hard to find what to eat :) or it is for me. They give you bread (sourdough and cereal bread). Our waiter was nice, attentive, filled the waters etc... I got the chicken salad sandwich with a green salad and ranch. The sandwich is huge, so the salad on the side is enough, almost unnecessary because it's very small so get the fries if you are hungry. The bread is a thick buttery white toast, toasted in butter (well toasted in butter). It's crispy, it's good but your fingers will get a bit greasy. I liked the roasted almonds in the sandwich. I was hesitating with the chicken quesadilla but I get that everywhere all the time so I opted for the chicken salad sandwich. I think the quesadilla would have been a better choice because it's cheesy!! The sandwich was good though but I don't think I'll get it again. My husband got the fish & chips and was very happy. It is served with fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce. It's big. The fish fingers are very chunky and the batter looked very good. The fries looked crispy and good. We decided to indulge and share a slice of the original cheesecake. The cheesecake menu is huge, 2 pages, and the slices are massive. However for the original, the size is totally normal and manageable. Overall it was good. Too bad they don't offer outside seatings. Too many options but it's good if you don't know what to eat and are very hungry!

This location is a great alternative to the ridiculously packed Dadeland Mall one. The food, like the other restaurants, is very filling and served in big portions. I usually get the Factory Burger, Pulled-pork sandwich, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Madera and most recently the Macaroni n' Cheese Cheeseburger. Go with the mashed potatoes, not fries. Did I mention it's in the Grove? ;^)

Unfortunately dinner a couple weeks ago was a big crap-ola with the food. The appetizers (corn tamales & the avocado rolls) were decent but my hubby's $15 kobe burger was barely ok in taste & the sweet potato fries were cold, not warm... Like I just left them in the fridge for 10 min cold. Not kidding! Alas he decided not to complain so I kept my boca shut. My bro in law's burger also ok, but the fries were also borderline cold. Yuk. My lettuce mushroom wraps were oilier (dunno if that's a word!) than a Texas drill hole & for reference a romaine skinny ass piece of lettuce doesn't help when u try to wrap stuff to it. I had to roll that skinny thing like a joint and i didn't know if i should smoke it or eat it!!! Please use standard iceberg or bib for Pete's sake! The one star is for the sweet waitress that put up with my tipsy guys & their lame jokes. Won't be coming back even if I'm super drunk, rather crawl across the street to johnny's...

There could not be a better fitted name for a restaurant because this popular chain really is a "factory." What does it manufacture? Oversized portions of just about any type of food that you could imagine wanting. With so many great restaurants around the area, I get confused when people choose Cheesecake to go to for dinner, but I find myself here every now and then, usually with big groups of friends for a birthday. The plus side is that the menu has just about anything you could want so everyone can always find something. The downside of this is that you feel like you're reading a novel before ordering and it makes deciding what to get quite the ordeal! I've always had good experiences here with the waitstaff and they do a good job of working their assembly line. And not going to lie, I LOVE the cheesecake. Cheesecake is by far my favorite dessert, and they do it just as good as the rest! With all the different varieties, it's impossible to pass up. But cheesecake aside, I'll always choose to go to a real restaurant and pass up the factory.

First time ever eating at The Cheesecake Factory and it wasn't bad. I really didn't have any expectations I just went hoping for good food and a good time. First the place is set up really nice the tables were already set for you my only problem with that is they had the forks, spoons sitting on the table without any napkins under it and I'm like damn that's kinda dirty looking. So I look past that order my food fish and chips and it was damn good. You ever closed your eyes when you eating? That's how good that fish was. So after all theses years of not paying cheesecake any attention....im upset that I did I've been cheating myself.

First off I love cheesecake so what better place then the cheesecake factory! I had never been to this location but never the lest it was as shnazzy as the last. We got seated and waited on very quickly for a packed house. Our waiter was very friendly and didnt always bither like most of them do. I ordered the 4 cheese pasta( I am a sucker for pasta, LOVE IT) I was deelish! My boyfriend ordered a tropical martini I believe dont quote me on that and the fish and chips basket. He said it was very good and nice and tender. We had the windo seat looking off onto the streets of Coconut Grove. Our only blah of the evening were the young group of kids that were there for a birthday. They were very loud and a bit overbearing. I guess they never learned to use there inside voices. Overall nice time and great date loved it will most def be back hopefully sooner then later.

Good and predictable. I was there during the end of the lunch hour, around 2 p.m. I had the ahi tartare and my mom had the Mexican chicken lettuce tacos. Both my ahi and her tacos were really good. Our service was great, nothing negative to say about it. The thing is, the Cheesecake Factory's menu is the same in San Diego or Portland or Miami. . .basically fancied up versions of menu staples, but pretty good nevertheless. Bonus -- when I was eating, Pitbull came in. He was super sweet, took a picture with me, and even gave my mom a huge hug. I guess that's to be expected in Coconut Grove.

Came here with my better half to eat a quick dinner before catching a movie nearby. I ordered the club sandwich and i have to say i was disappointed with it. The soup that my girl ordered was also nothing to write home about...overall we were not thrilled. Next time I will skip the factory.

I actually hate coming to this Cheesecake Factory. I've been here about 5 times. Can't help it, people always give us gift cards and if I'm in the area, I'm gonna use it here if I'm hungry. They always sit us in the back where the windows are which is the worst place to be. Although it has a nice view, I guess. The waiters always forget about you and it's where they sit the party tables (birthdays and other celebrations). So when the waiters do get there, they usually focus on those tables. On top of that, the service is slow. We never get the good bread. Maybe once it didn't taste like it was sitting around all day. Hurt your gums hard. The food is good. I always have a problem telling the difference between the food at the same chains. So I can only differentiate the service which is bad. So maybe, try not to be like me and just drive 15 minutes further to the Dadeland mall locations. It's much better there, although I find the wait is usually longer.

We had the BEST server possible. First of all, he was incredibly attentive to our table, even though it was a table of two. The chef accidentally made the wrong dish for me, and the server just gave it to us, as he would throw it away if we didn't take it. Free meal for later! He was incredibly prompt and wonderful at making recommendations. That being said, the food itself wasn't anything to write home about. The pasta dish was priced at about $25, but it is something you would be able to get elsewhere for much cheaper. The food is loaded with unnecessary butter, for my taste. It was a good meal, but definitely wasn't worth the $60 bill for two people. The CHEESECAKE is definitely the reason to come here (as the name might indicate). I have tried the Oreo Cheesecake (awesome), the Red Velvet Cheesecake (phenomenal) and Peanut Butter Fudge Cup Ripple was awe-inspiring. I love cheesecake. It is completely worth the stomach ache that comes from over-indulging in rich foods. Overall, I would say come here for the cheesecake, but get your food elsewhere.

Delicious cheesecake. The food is okay but we could go just for the dessert. EDIT: the food is still good over there, although my $25 pastas were somewhat overpriced. The burgers are great and the cheesecakes still delicious. However the service is lower than average in my opinion. Lack of attention, not always ready to help (like last time when my wife had something sticky on her seat which she had to clean by herself while the waitress was watching her. I'm not sure I'll even bother going back at this point. Some other locations in the Miami area are better.

I am fan of the cheesecake factory and this one is not exception. I was a little skeptical because we arrived so close to closing but they didn't disappoint. The food was delicious. Definatelly order the avocado eggrolls for an appetizer. This particular location is difficult to find. You can see it, but getting to it is an adventure.

It's a chain, but I like it. I've been coming to this Cheesecake factory since it opened too long ago and I recently left happy. Upside: No wait, food was good and generous portion. Downside: Too much to choose from and no real specialty. Over the years I've tried just about everything on the menu and it wasn't until I discovered the fried mac and cheese, that made me want to go back. These four little fried balls of cheesy goodness could cure just about any downer. The plate is also covered with a creamy pink pasta sauce. Every now and then there's a craving for cheesecake, so you hit up the counter, get your slices with whipped cream and you're out the door. You know exactly what you are going to get when you come here.

Cheesecake Factory restaurants are always good. From the east to the west coast, usually located in malls or nearby malls. This one is located inside a Cocowalk, which has a dance club, comedy club, movie theatre and more. Their best feature for me is happy hour from 4-6pm. Their $5 menu is excellent. Of course the cheesecakes are delicious. Good service - cant go wrong.

Great food and excellent service. I would definitely recommend this cheesecake factory. It's not as crazy busy as the other cheesecake factory restaurants in south florida. Just be ready for large portions of food!! You definitely get your money's worth!!

Visited for late dinner on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised to be seated within 5 minutes - at most! (my biggest pet peeve at CF's is the wait - so yayy!) Got a cozy table in the corner, overlooking the Grove. Server was very attentive - giving us our space to order, but still staying on top of things and not abandoning us. I love Cheesecake Factory because you can always pick something different from the daunting 398,474 page menu - without getting bored. Started out with drinks - dirty mojito & factory peach bellini (my fav!!), shared the avocado eggrolls - then ordered my comfort food favorite, grilled cheese, and the boyfriend ordered white chicken chili. As always, it was tooo much food, but it was great the next day. It would've gotten 4 stars, but my grilled cheese could've had a little more cheese, a little less bread (see my yardhouse grilled cheese review).

My fiance and I loved this place! The atmosphere was great! Our server was Nikia, and if I had $100 to give her as a tip, I would! She was so cheerful, knowledgeable and made the experience that much better! We ordered the shrimp scampi and it was deeelish! Will revisit!

I'm not impressed by a huge selection on a menu or by large portions of food. Quantity and not quality us what cheesecake lives by and I've been disappointed again and again. The first time I ate at the grove location I ordered some chicken platter that was oversauced to the point that I was repulsed by my meal. The last time I came I ordered a tuna salad which I asked to have dressing on the side for and received it drenched in dressing, along with a dressing in the side. The tuna itself was tasty but not worth the price. Not a fan of cheesecake.

This place was a big mistake. On our first trip to Miami we decided to check out the Coconut Grove outdoor mall. We were hungry and went into the Cheesecake factory and were pleasantly greeted by the wonderful cold a/c. The service and food were blah, I remember the waitress bringing us the wrong drinks. I've dine at another cheesecake factory and found the food was not as good. We were dusted and disgusted that we didn't even have any dessert. Now I know better, stay away from the tourist traps...

I came here a few Fridays ago with 3 friends to grab dinner. We arrived and were seated within about 5 or 7 minutes. The waitress took our drink orders and brought a few kinds of breads and butter for us to start on while we chatted away and checked out the menu. The odd thing with the drink order was that it took her about 5 minutes to bring the alcoholic beverages, but the person in our group who only ordered a Diet Coke waited at least another 5 mins. more for her non-alcoholic drink to arrive. Hmmm. The group I was with wanted to order a few appetizers to share. I did warn them about the size of the entrees, but even then I don't think they truly understood how large the portions really are here. They chowed down on the breads that arrived (which were yummy) and then polished off a plate of calamari and some avocado egg rolls (both of which were tasty), but then HOLLLLY S**t! Here came their main course dishes and needless to say two of them had to take a box home so they could have the rest of their meals the next day for lunch. In all, the food was good and everyone was happy with everything they ordered. As has always been the case at the Cheesecake Factory, the portions are too large IMO, and I'd rather pay a bit less and have a manageable sized meal rather than feeling like a stuffed pig because I tried to finish everything, or feeling a bit guilty about wasting so much food at the end. The service on this night was OK, but wasn't great. The drink orders took a while to arrive as I mentioned earlier in my review, but also once the food arrived one of my friends wanted to ask for a condiment for her burger. We waited nearly 10 minutes before we even saw our waitress, and only got her because we saw her at another table and managed to flag her down. It also took us a while to get the check and get out of there when we were ready to go. As far as price, I had 2 drinks, a sandwich and fries and chipped in for the appetizers and I think my total came to something like $25 + tip so not bad at all. Improve the service and make the portions a bit more managable and I'd happily add a star.

My friend once said let's go to cheesecake factory factory for lunch. When I replied that their food sucks, he said "but they give you a lot". I think that sums it up. Large portions of bland food. I always joke around that flavor isn't included with your food here. I mean where do they genetically manufacture their flavorless ingredients? Even pungent ingredients like garlic and capers have no flavor at this establishment. And every dish comes loaded with tons of oil or heavy cream or both and still no flavor. Anyway, the service is always good and if you have a large group to cater to I still wouldn't rule out a visit. Like when my not very food centric friend brought his entire family from TN. I knew everybody would find something they would eat.

So I finally went to a Cheesecake Factory. I have unofficially boycotted it on principle, but I was on vacation with my sister and she reeally wanted their cheesecake. We had only dessert, a chocolate raspberry cheesecake of some kind. I had always assumed that the signature dish at this place would at least be edible. I assumed wrong. If you can put aside the idea that you're (allegedly) eating cheesecake and view it as merely an oversweetened, indeterminate paste and said paste appeals to you, you're good to go. if you would actually like to enjoy the savory/sweet meld of an actual cheesecake with just enough firmness to bite into, keep moving.

I came here to have dinner with my sister. The waiter was nice but he had NO idea what was going on in the menu. Every time asked him about a certain plate his answer would be like "I don't know because I dont eat Tuna" or "I don't eat that either". Those were his answers. Wow. I wish he would have lied to me. I am very far from being a difficult customer, really... I dont expect the waiters to like everything on the menu or to give me their personal opinion on plates, that's always nice indeed, but at least be ready to give me a little description on what i'm inquiring about. He ended up just bringing the manager to my table who pretty much ended up being our waiter. He was very nice and suggested me something after describing it in detail. Once my food arrived, it was completely different from what me and him had discussed. I was starving, so I just sucked it up and ate it. The manager did come to check on me, I explained to him my disappointment, he offered and insisted that I get a new plate, the one he had described, but I declined his offer because I was almost done with my food and had a movie to catch. So he said he would take it off my check, although I thanked him and insisted for him to not do that because I ate my food after all, he still did it. So I did appreciate that... but their waiters need to step their game up!

I always seem to be content with the food at CF. I wouldn't say it's anything to write home to your momma about, but it does the job. I will say that I do get overwhelmed with their menu... way too much to choose from! I had the Chicken Croquettes this past time and they were incredible! Their food and drink happy hour is a pretty good deal.

I only came for drinks, appetizer and dessert. The service was blah, but it is a chain restaurant so what did I expect? I ordered crab cakes for my choice of appetizer and they were OK. They are deep fried, I prefer my crab cakes lightly fried or seared crisp. 3 came on my plate and I ate 1 1/2, they are quite thick, though. My Moscato was perfectly chilled and fizzy. My favorite was the dessert, my date LOVED my choice, the Red Velvet Cheesecake. It's just delicious.

it's a cheesecake factory. it's not haute cuisine, but it's still yummy. i highly recommend getting their house red. it's from the mondavis and i can't remember for the life of me what it was called, but apparently it's a vintage that's only distributed to the cheesecake factory. IT WAS YUMMY! go to the cheesecake factory just for the wine!

I am giving the cheesecake factory a 3 star, because I've had good experiences at many locations. However, this latest visit deserves a 1 star. But, since I don't believe in destroying anyone's rating over one bad experience, they get the 3 star, and again, that's just because, on the whole, collectively, that what they'd deserve. We were in the grove and went for the old stand by of cheesecake factory. it was lunch time and there was no wait, we walked in, the hostess looked up and passed us off to the other host and we were sat right away. Our server was one of those guys who's been there a while, he wears too much cologne, which I noticed one other time when we were there. He's pretty regular with his routine. He suggested the special, was animated as he did it. He kept up with our refills and the food came out pretty quickly. From where we were sitting, we could see the host stand and what really got under my skin, was the female hostess. She was constantly, and I mean CONSTANTLY on her cell phone texting. she had it in a drawer and would pull the drawer our and think she was being slick by reading and texting from there. She looked around all the time as not to get busted by a boss but it was the entire time we were there. She was also dressed a little inappropriately. She was a short, semi larger girl, which is absolutely fine (I'm not judging that at all) however, she was wearing jeans that were too tight (you know, someone who should not be wearing the skinny jeans) so, she had that muffin top, and her shirt was too snug and would ride up so you would constantly see black jeans, black top and bright muffin top. Couple that in with the fact that she was on her phone the entire time and it really started to effect my experience there. Since I've eaten there, I just chalk it up to the work pool we have to choose from down here in Miami. So I know cheesecake is better than that. However, if this were someone's first time, it would make for an AWFUL first impression. Moving on from the hostess. I got a newer dish they were trying that was on a separate menu. Shrimp New Orleans. Let's just say, I hope this one does not end up on the regular menu. the portion size was ok, but, it's not that great. what made it worse was, the rice was overcooked. I finished the rest of the dish but left a large portion of the rice behind. When the server came by to ask how everything was. I told him to let the kitchen manager know that the rice was overcooked and he might want to have them make a new batch of rice for the rest of the dishes. I told him, I didn't want anymore rice and that I didn't want anything done about my meal, I was just giving them a heads up. He brought me out another plate of the just the rice, but, it was the same overcooked rice I had mentioned lol. So, not I left behind the rice from my main dish, and the entire plate of overcooked rice he brought me. So, this was not the greatest experience I've had at a cheesecake factory, but, like I said in the beginning, I've had plenty of very good experiences, so this won't stop me from going back. I just hope that the managers catch these details and fix them so that this doesn't become the norm. They've been around too long doing a great job to let these things drag them down. So, to recap: less cologne on the server better fitting clothes on the hostess not having the hostess text while working don't overcook the rice I'll be back again I know, be it the grove or aventura or wherever.

Cheesecake factory is a classic must have. I always get the spicy cashew chicken! But tonight we got a bunch of appetizers and it was more food than the wife n I could handle...always a good thing. Cheesecake in Cocowalk is definitely one of my favorites. Service was excellent.

Mediocre food, but they attempt to compensate with oversized portions. I don't want large portions of bad food. In fact, I would even prefer unreasonably small portions of good food. Of course, large portions of good food would be ideal, but then they would probably get kicked out of the Cheesecake Factory chain, and I wouldn't want anyone to lose their job.

Please don't waste your money here. the Steak Diane and The Fried Shrimp Scampi are pretty bad and everything takes forever. You can get crappy food just about anywhere so save yourself some money.
